I was born in L' Hospitalet del Llobregat (Barcelona), but grew up in Rubi. Since my childhood I was interested in drawing, miniatures, sculpturing in clay and disassembling all mechanical toys that I had around. After university entrance exams I got interested in traditional animation and I expanded my knowledge with ENG camera, nonlinear editing, 3D animation courses and I studied filmmaking and television in EMAV school, in Barcelona.
In 1998 I joined DDT, then an emerging special makeup effects company for films owned by David Marti and Montse Ribé. Since then, I contributed to their work in the special effects in productions like "The Devil's Backbone", "Hellboy", "Talk to Her", "Pan's Labyrinth", "The Orphanage" and "Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life", among many others, taking charge of tasks of modeling, mold making and building animatronics. David and Montse received during this time several Goya and even an Oscar for "Pan's Labyrinth".
Back in 2011 I took my concerns to participate in the visual effects of small film productions such as "T is for Tiles" by Victor Garcia and "Defeated" by José Manuel Meneses .
